file-rc software package provides Alternative boot mechanism using a single configuration file, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install file-rc
file-rc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the file-rc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep file-rc *
You will get with file-rc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
